I just finished listening to Ayanla Vanzant’s In the Meantime. I must say it’s a helpful piece. She got some really good points. In these audio cassettes, she talks about how to find true love and how to get it. I must say, if you are looking for some answers as to how you can find better relationships be it boyfriend, friends, family, co-workers, etc. you should give her a try.

In her audio cassettes, she compares the process of attaining peace and love within ourselves to be like a dirty house that needs cleaning. To begin our journey of attaining love from others, it would mean for us to start at our own dirty basement and clean our own junks up. Each of these junks need to be addressed. These old dusty junks represents our conflicts and things that we really hadn’t confronted or we have avoided over the years.

I love her anology. She goes on further to nicknaming these individuals as “basement dwellers” ( I must admit, I too was one) and talks about these individuals as being unaware of their problems or don’t know that there is even a problem. People who dwells here often ask questions like: why is this happening to me?, why me? These people are victims of themself.

Only when we are down in the dump do we realize something needs to be change. If you are at all like these individuals she described or you just need some answers on how to better your life situation pick up Ayanla Vanzant’s In the Meantime. Ayanla shows us how to stop being a victim and elevate our state of being by finding peace within.

She used each level of the house to represent each state of awareness. The process is described as elevating yourself up to the attic__each level bringing new awareness. Attic being the santuary and you operating in life in a greater awareness state and that you as an individual is in control and in charge of your life. Here, you are aware of why and what you are doing the things that you do. Here you take full responsibility for your action. You live consciously. Along your journey you will create what you want_ the kind of love you want..

The way she does it is so simple and easy to understand. I think anyone can relate and easily comprehend her message. It’s definitely worth 2 hours. So, if you are searching for answers on how to gain the kind of love you are seeking for why not gain a bit of wisdom from a wise woman name Ayanla Vanzant.

“You can not expect others to love you the way you want, when you can not even respect and love yourself. Love starts from within.”
